Home Getty Images Creative Grants

getty We proudly support photographers and communications professionals who use their talents to promote positive change in our world.

Nonprofits need striking imagery and video to effectively tell their stories. Beyond that, in order to stand out from the documentary style traditionally associated with the nonprofit sector, they need innovative and creative visionaries at their side to produce campaigns which elevate awareness for their cause. This is why the Getty Images Creative Grants provide two grants of $15,000 annually, to cover photographer (or filmmaker) and agency costs as they work together to create compelling new imagery for the nonprofit of their choice.

Grant recipients may use the entire award to offset shoot expenses, or donate all or part of the funds directly to their charity and contribute their own time and resources to their campaign. At the completion of the project, all three partners: the photographer (or filmmaker), nonprofit and the communications agency involved will be showcased to the media and to our customers.

The innovative use of images in a campaign for a nonprofit (beyond traditional use in a website, brochure or exhibit), will be the primary criteria for selecting the grant winners
