Historic Photographer of the Year 2020
Historic Photographer of the Year showcases the world’s very best historic places and cultural sites from across the globe, capturing everything from the most famous national treasures to obscure and forgotten hidden gems.
The fourth Historic Photographer of the Year Awards officially launches for entries on 14th July 2020 and is open to amateur and professional photographers around the world.
With varying restrictions in place across the globe rather than asking entrants to head out and explore, this year we’re instead seeking entries already captured and are keen to discover the very best images of fascinating historic locations that reside in your archives.
Contest Prize & TERMS
“Historic England” Category: there will be one prize of an English Heritage experience tailored to the winner’s interests, location and abilities and £100 -worth of Historic England publications.
“Where History Happened” Category: there will be one prize of £50 cash for the entry chosen by the judges. Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.
COPYRIGHT: Copyright and moral rights in all images submitted for this Competition remain with the entrants. Notwithstanding this, in consideration of entering the Competition, each entrant agrees to grant the Promoter and the relevant Category Partner a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, licence of intellectual property rights in the Competition entry and any accompanying materials for the Term, to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-license the Competition entry and any accompanying materials for any purpose connected with the Competition, with a right to sublicense as necessary USAGE RIGHTS: Copyright and moral rights in all images submitted for this Competition remain with the entrants.
