This is a fun competition for photographers of all abilities to celebrate the work of the Hawk Conservancy Trust and the beauty of birds of prey!

Featuring six main categories, this competition gives photographers, both amateur and professional, the chance to show off their talents and have their work appear in print as we will produce the six category winners and six runners-up in the 2015 Hawk Conservancy Trust Calendar, which is sold in the Trust shop and on-line

Categories for the photographic competition :

Portrait. Best portrait photograph of a Hawk Conservancy Trust bird of prey.

Action. Best photograph of a Hawk Conservancy Trust bird of prey in a flying display.

Working relationship.Best photograph demonstrating the relationship between a member of Trust staff and a Hawk

Conservancy Trust bird of prey, or between a member of Trust staff and a wild bird of prey in any location where the Trust is actively working.

Flora and fauna. Best photograph of the wildflowers, shrubs, plants, trees, insects, mammals and wildlife and the sculptures around the grounds of the Trust (excludes birds of prey).

In the wild. Best photograph of a wild (non-captive/non-Trust) bird of prey taken in its natural setting.

Young Photographer. Best photograph in any of these categories, taken by an under 16 year old. (Young photographers may choose to submit their images in the main categories or in the Young Photographer category, but not both.)
