Photographers of all levels are invited to submit work reflecting the theme “habitat” to A Smith Gallery by June 30, 2016. Habitat includes dwelling, nest, settlement, domicile, roost, homestead, haven, abode, surroundings, environment, digs, nook, quarters, home etc.

The entry fee is $35 for the first 5 images and $6 for each additional image. Fifty five to sixty images will be selected for exhibition and shown at the gallery from August 12 and September 18, 2016. A reception will be held on August 27, 2016 from 4 to 7pm. A Blurb full color catalog of the exhibit with all the accepted entries will be available for purchase.

Awards are $325 for Juror’s Award, $250 for Director’s Award, three Juror Honorable Mentions each receiving an exhibition catalog, discretionary Director Honorable Mentions each receiving an exhibition catalog and $100 for Visitors’ Award.

Juror for “habitat” will be Julie Blackmon.
