Gomma Black and White Awards Early Bird
Gomma invites you to take part in this new adventure:
With 20 years’ of experience in the field, Gomma is finally launching a contest for monochrome photography.
The winners will receive cash prizes, and certificates and benefit from enormous worldwide exposure.
To celebrate the Finalist’s bodies of work Gomma will also publish a Limited-Edition hardcover photo book that will be distributed worldwide.
Gomma has continuously been working with publishers and curators to suggest and promote photographers. These professionals are always looking for artists to represent and invest in.
The finalists and winners from previous Gomma contests have profited from both Gomma’s effort and know-how and went on to grow their careers to a higher level, both professionally and artistically.
In response to the worldwide situation, Gomma responds by keeping the submission fees as low as possible.
Contest Prize & TERMS
€1000 | Printed Award Certificate | Complimentary copy of The Book.
In addition the winning work could become a 2023 Gomma Books title. We will also propose the work to publishers and curators as well as to international photography magazine and online photography journals that we are well connected with.
Second Prize Winner
Printed Award Certificate | Complimentary copy of The Book.
In addition: a copy of MONO Volume Two GOLD Edition. The work will also be proposed to a selection of publishers and curators Gomma has been working closely with for years.
Third Prize Winner
Printed Award Certificate | Complimentary copy of The Book.
In addition: a copy of MONO Volume Two cased edition. The Third Prize winners' work will be showcased in the Gomma Newsletter as well as being proposed to exclusive online Journals and Photography magazines.
Finalists photographers (approx 30)

COPYRIGHT: The photographer must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of the photographs entered in to the competition.
Gomma/ Chewing Gum Ltd respects photographers rights and does not claim copyright for the images you submit to this contest. Photographers will retain full copyright in each entry. USAGE RIGHTS: By entering Gomma Photography Grant you agree that any winning image or runner up images you submit may be used by Gomma/ Chewing Gum Ltd solely for the purpose of this contest or future contests by Gomma and no other purposes. These uses include: displaying the entries on the contest's website and other affiliated websites such as Gomma Facebook page, promotion of the contests and the photographers works.
You hereby grant Gomma/ Chewing Gum Ltd a non-exclusive, irrevocable licence in each Entry for the uses described in 1. above for 2 years following the date of announcement of the winner, thereafter the image may be used for archival purposes only by Gomma/ Chewing Gum Ltd.
