Getty Images Grants for Editorial Photography
We believe that photojournalism is a powerful tool for telling compelling social, political and cultural stories. We also understand that creating and managing world-class photography assignments requires time, freedom, support and considerable resources.
That is why we continue to offer Grants for Editorial Photography, which provide five grants of $20,000 each to provide photojournalists with funding to pursue projects of personal and journalistic significance.
Contest Prize & TERMS
PRIZE DETAILS:
Each Getty Images Grant for Editorial Photographer consists of $20,000 USD, half of which will be provided to the grant recipient at the start of their project and half when the project is completed.
ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be presently engaged as a professional photojournalist

COPYRIGHT: Applicants retain the copyrights to any imagery submitted for the judges’ review, and only imagery to which they applicant holds the copyright may be submitted. USAGE RIGHTS: Each grant applicant allows Getty Images the right to use his or her name, likeness and biographical information, as well as the right to select and use portfolio and grant project images in connection with any and all Getty Images promotions and publicity, including the website and exhibitions of the Getty Images Grants for Editorial Photography program.
