From Memory and Oblivion Photo Contest
Los Ojos del Tiempo, Department of Culture of the Jalisco State Government And the City Council of Guadalajara invite entries to their photography competition on the theme “From Memory and Oblivion”
Entrants should prepare a portfolio of images on the theme “From Memory and Oblivion” comprising a maximum of three photographs per entrant. All photographs should be in black and white, and be taken using any technique: analogue, digital, early processes.
Contest Prize & TERMS
PRIZE DETAILS:
Memory and Oblivion Prize of 75,000 pesos for the best photograph by all entrants: local, national and international.
• Memory and Oblivion Prize Jalisco of 75,000 pesos for the best image by a photographer living in the State of Jalisco.
• The prizes will be awarded at the opening of the exhibition “From Memory and Oblivion” to be held in the month of November 2013 in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. ELIGIBILITY: Open to All Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.
COPYRIGHT: Entrants declare that they own the copyright to the photographs they enter into the competition and release the organizers of legal responsibility for any third party claim that may arise. The selected photographs will remain the property of their creators. USAGE RIGHTS: Los Ojos del Tiempo reserves the right to use the selected photographs in its publications, promotional products and in the book DeNotas, giving credit to their creators. 50 photographs from the competition “From Memory and Oblivion Jalisco” will be published in a book DeNotas and in a high-quality calendar accompanying a poem by Jorge Esquinca.
