The winners, at the discretion of the Sponsor, will be included in an exhibition during the FotoWeek DC festival on November 9-18, 2012. In addition, submitted work will be shown online at www.fotoweekdc.org.

FotoBook Award:The total cash value of the awards for FotoBook (print and eBook) is $6,000, which will be awarded in the form of a check or bank transfer.

* Winners submitting printed FotoBooks will have their FotoBooks and selected, enlarged prints exhibited at the Goethe Institut (a primary Festival hub) during the Festival. Winners who submit e-books will have their work electronically displayed at the same location. The FotoBook exhibition will open on Saturday, November 10, 2012 with a public opening held on the evening of Wednesday, November 14, 2012. This exhibition will run through December 18, 2012.

* Complimentary annual FotoPage subscription providing winners with online exposure to collectors, curators, art directors, and audiences.

* Selected FotoBook images will be exhibited within the FotoGalleries section the FotoDC/FotoWeekDC website and publicized via FotoDC’s social media outlets following the Festival.

In addition, judges may select images from each category to post in an Honorable Mentions online FotoGallery on fotoweekdc.org, but not in print or electronically displayed at the Goethe Institut.
