Format11 International Photography Festival

format_logo.jpg (40 KB)FORMAT11 Open Submissions, receiving applications NOW. ‘Right Here, Right Now’ Exposures from the public realm.Artists working with or about photography and related media are invited to submit proposals for exhibitions or events, including new or existing works for exhibition or presentation as part of the EXPOSURE section of the festival.

These opportunities are open to any artist/photographer based in the UK or Internationally.

The EXPOSURE exhibitions for FORMAT11 will be held in 30 venues throughout Derby city centre. Selected artists will be included in the FORMAT11 brochure, website, catalogue and be profiled as part of the festival.

All applications must relate to the festival theme: ‘Right Here, Right Now’ Exposures from the public realm. The theme is deliberately broad allowing practitioners to respond in a number of ways from purely conceptual works through to social documentary and street photography.

COPYRIGHT: All selected entries may be published by FORMAT International Photography Festival or FORMAT affiliated Sponsors/Funders and Partners (the "Authorised Parties") in magazines or books, on websites, or in any other medium, at Authorised Parties' discretion. Such use will be restricted to promotion, publicity, news, or informational education or awareness usage of FORMAT International Photography Festival. By participating, all selected applicants grant a license to FORMAT and its Authorised Parties, and acknowledge that any FORMAT and Authorised Party may use the entries and a name credit in any media now or hereafter known, without restriction in relation to the uses stated above. FORMAT and Authorised Parties will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such use.
