Flash a Light on Homelessness
Flash a Light on Homelessness is a subsidiary competition of St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore’s Flashlight event. This is a skill-based juried competition. In a world desensitized by the visual imagery of the plight of homelessness, we challenge you to capture the story, cultivate the emotion, and convey the issue through your lens.

PRIZE DETAILS:
There will be one winner. The prize is valued at $1,500. There is a $500 cash prize, and the opportunity to be hired as the official paid photographer of the event OR photography equipment. Please visit our website to learn more about Flashlight, an all-night sleep out event on Saturday, November 5, 2016 on the infield of the Maryland State Fairgrounds that challenges individuals and teams to sleep out and raise awareness and funds to help Baltimore’s homeless. irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid-up, worldwide license (including the right to sublicense through multiple tiers) to use,
reproduce, process, adapt, publicly perform, publicly display, modify, prepare derivative works, publish, transmit and
distribute such Content, and any portion thereof, throughout the world in any format , media or distribution method
(weather now known or thereafter created) for the duration of any copyright or other rights in such Content. Such
permission shall be perpetual and my not be revoked for any reason, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Further,
to the extent permitted under applicable law, you waive and release and covenant not to assert any oral rights that you
may have in any Content posted or provided by you. You agree to pay for all royalties, fees, damages and other monies
owing any person by reason of any Content posted by you to or through this contest.
