At the England Hockey Board we are fortunate to have access to some of the best sports photographers in the world who supply us with action shots of all the top international tournaments. DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 1ST MARCH 2011

However we also realise that we have an incredible family of Hockey players, fans and volunteers out there who could be budding landscape photographers like Ansell Adams or award winning sports photographers such as our own Ady Kerry or the remarkable Bob Martin, in the making.

We therefore decided that we would give all clubs, schools and individuals the opportunity to enter an annual photographic competition with a view to presenting the best images on our website and in Hockey news magazine. If a particular shot stands out this could find its way onto the magazine’s front cover.
We would like to open up this competition to enable all abilities of photographers to enter. To this extent we have chosen:

‘Hockey in England’  as the theme. This could mean action shots, abstract shots, still life, landscape, ad hoc / candid images – whatever you feel best expresses the line ‘Hockey in England’. If you have a photograph you took some time back you can enter this too.

We will have two age groups:

1. Individuals over 18
2. Individuals under 18
