Extreme Environment Photographic Competition
The competition seeks images created in the last three years, of extreme environments in the polar and sub-polar regions. Open to both amateur and professional photographers, prizes are $A5000 for photo of the year and $A2000 for amateur photo of the year. Administered by Tasmanian State Government office. DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 31ST MARCH 2011
Contest Prize & TERMS
Entries selected as competition finalists will be printed by Fujifilm Australia Pty Ltd at our cost. They will be exhibited at the Extreme Environment Photographic Exhibition venues during the Antarctic Centennial Year, May 2011 – June 2012. Photographer’s name and country of residence will be displayed with each image ELIGIBILITY: Australian and international photographers Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.
COPYRIGHT: Copyright remains with the photographer. USAGE RIGHTS: Prize winners consent to license to Antarctic Tasmania, Science and Research non-exclusive rights to use the winning images in publicity and promotion, to scan, copy, reproduce, display and publish the images including on the Internet for the purpose of promoting the Extreme Environment Photographic Competition and the Antarctic Centennial Year.
All images used in this way will carry the copyright symbol, the photographer’s name and the date of creation.
