PRIZE DETAILS: The selected artists and writers, up to 40, will be published in our print and digital magazine and the two-year online exhibition, as well as receive a free digital copy of the magazine. Four will also receive a feature section with a profile written about them. All benefit from exposure to art lovers and engage our readers through our social media, website, and print and digital issues. COPYRIGHT: It is ArtAscent’s policy to terminate membership privileges of any Applicant who infringes copyright upon prompt notification to ArtAscent by the copyright owner or the copyright owner’s legal agent. Without limiting the foregoing, if you believe that your work has been copied and posted on the Services or used in any publication in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Copyright Agent with the following information: (i) an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest; (ii) a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed; (iii) a description of the location on the Service of the material that you claim is infringing; (iv) your address, telephone number, and email address; (v) a written statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (vi) a statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf. USAGE RIGHTS: The Applicant owns the Content. You represent and warrant that: (i) you own or otherwise have the right to grant the licenses set forth in this section for the Content that you provide to ArtAscent, post on our website or other online spaces, or provide for our print services to have them printed in a magazine, and (ii) your Content does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright rights, or other rights of any person or entity.

In order for ArtAscent to be able to provide you with our Services, you hereby agree to provide us with the following licenses to use your Selected Work:

License to print your Selected Work. You hereby grant to ArtAscent a non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free license (a “License”) to reproduce and distribute your Selected Work for the purpose of printing publications and for any other related purpose that you authorize. You agree that ArtAscent reserves the right to maintain the electronic files for any Submitted Work to fulfill any further orders which may be placed for such publication and the Services, and to maintain an archival copy of the printed magazine.

The Applicant grants to ArtAscent a License to reproduce, distribute, publicly display, use, and otherwise make available throughout the world the Submitted Work, including in actions required for the delivery of calls, publication, announcements and marketing. Applicants agree that ArtAscent may feature their submitted work for display, marketing, promotions, and exhibition archives, including ArtAscent publications, directories, websites, and social spaces. We will credit each artist with their name, artwork title and media, website, photographer credit, and gallery if requested. We may feature submitted Themed Call images, framed, in the Investors Tips section with the artist’s name and website, independently of the general call selections.

You represent and warrant that you ARE the author of your Content (including your Selected Work) and, in any case, that you bear the full and ultimate responsibility for the publication and distribution of your Content (including your Selected Work).
