We have decided to run a regular photography competition. Every quarter will see a competition with a new theme, and the theme for June – August 2009 is ‘Eden’. You can interpret that however you like – from the biblical Eden, to places, people, or whatever. And any photograph is eligible, whether digitally enhanced or not, as we’re looking for CREATIVE pictures rather than just nice snapshots of lakes and dogs and so on.

We’re offering a prize of £50 for the winning work, which will be published prominently on our website as well as in the next edition of our Eden Arts News. 10 runners up will also be web-published and we hope to put up a small exhibition on our notice boards.

The competition will be judged by local photographer Richard Johnston and Eden Arts Director Adrian Lochhead. Send us your entries digitally or by snail mail.
