Photos will be judged both by aesthetic appeal and the degree to which they embody the essence of ecotourism, which Greenloons defines as the discovery of a natural or wildlife habitat in a manner that maximizes local economic and social goals, and reduces the possibility of environmental degradation.

By contributing to this photo contest, participants will help spread the word about the importance of certified eco travel in an industry currently saturated with loosely understood “eco” and “green” labeled vacations.

The 5 top vote-getting finalists (as determined by Facebook “Likes”) will have their entries judged by a panel chosen by Greenloons. Only 1 entry per person is allowed and all contestants must be 18 years of age or older. The selected winner will receive 2 FitBit Trackers.
