Dave Bown Projects – 2nd Semiannual Competition
Prizes: $7,000 USD. Jurors: Kashya Hildebrand, Galerie Kashya Hildebrand, Zurich; Daneyal Mahmood, Private Art Dealer, New York; Pete Surace, RARE, New York.
Dave Bown Projects presents the 2nd Semiannual Competition open to all visual artists with all styles and media being eligible.
Contest Prize & TERMS
PRIZE DETAILS:
$7,000 USD (7 artists will each receive $1,000).
In addition to the cash prizes listed above; Dave Bown will be buying works of art, on an ongoing basis, from select artists as submissions are received. All styles and media are eligible. ELIGIBILITY: 18 years of age or older. All styles and media are eligible. Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.
COPYRIGHT: Artists will retain the copyright to their images. USAGE RIGHTS: 25 artists will be selected by the jurors and archived under Competitions on davebownprojects.com. Each artist will have their own page that will feature an image, caption information, and a link to their website. We will not handle the sale of your work. All inquiries will be forwarded to you and/or your gallery.
Currently the Dave Bown Projects private network (offline database) includes over 13,000 contacts spanning 106 countries. We will have an announcement sent via email to tens of thousands of subscribers. Furthermore, we will produce a press release and seek reviews. Other events (e.g., lectures) will be organized and are in development.
