Cynosure: “Lumière”
Aperture- The Digital Arts Society of Manipal University Jaipur is back with the 10th edition of Cynosure: “Lumière”.
The theme for this Photography competition is Shadows and Reflections.

PARTICIPANTS HAVE TO POST THE ENTRIES ON INSTAGRAM
.
The guidelines for the competition are as follows:
1. The competition is free and open for all.
2. Participants can submit their old as well as their new work.
3. Each individual can submit multiple entries per their wish (no specific limit).
4. Basic editing like adjustments to exposure, colour, contrast etc are allowed. Manipulated photos will not be considered for the competition.
5. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
6. LAST DATE for submission is August 26, 2021 [11:59 pm IST].
7. The winners will be announced on August 28, 2021 and their work will be featured on our social media page along with a prize.
Mandatory rules :
8. It’s mandatory for the participants to follow @aperturemuj (Will be checked before considering entries).
9. Use #aperturemuj and #cynosurelumiere in your entries (whether new or old).
10. Tag 3 of your friends in the comment section of this post.
11. If you’re submitting an old post as an entry then put that on your story and tag @aperturemuj.

COPYRIGHT: The author is the first owner of the copyright in a work created by him. In case of a photograph, the photographer will be the first owner unless there is an agreement to the contrary. So even if you own the camera but your friend takes a photograph, which is stunning, your friend owns the copyright to the image. The rights of the Photographer are the right to reproduce, to make any adaptation of the work, publish his photographs etc. The essential element to protect the copyright in artistic work particularly a photograph requires that the photograph must be an original work where some degree of skill and effort must have been expended on it. USAGE RIGHTS: The winning photographs would be showcased on our Instagram page, @aperturemuj. Apart from that, any photos from all the submitted entries might be used for showcase in a collage video format on our Instagram page, @aperturemuj.
