CSU, Chico Museum of Anthropology Photo Competition
California State University, Chico will be accepting submissions for the landmark 25th Annual American Visions Photography Juried Exhibition, being held September 8 – 27th at Kendall Hall.
Interested in showing off your “green” side? Get across what sustainability and the environmental movement mean to you and submit a photo sample to the Museum of Anthropology by August 14th that portrays the beauty and need for protection of our planet—anything from the usefulness of solar energy to the simple grandeur of the great outdoors.
A grand opening and reception for the exhibition will be held September 8th at Kendall Hall. The submission deemed “Best of Show” by the panel of judges—made up of an anthropologist, a photographer/artist, and a community member—will be granted the $500 Valene Smith Award for Excellence in Visual Anthropology.
