“Colour” Photography Contest
Calling all talented photographers who want to learn about freelancing: Silicon Beach Training is launching its second competition, with the theme “Colour”. They are offering the amazing prize of a place on a 4-day Freelance Photography Course from Brighton Journalist Works – worth £245 – and a 24” x 18” canvas print from Identity Signage and Printing for the runner up. On top of that, both the winning photographer and aspiring freelancer will receive free online exposure across Silicon Beach Training’s active social media profiles.
The winning photograph will be selected by Brighton-based high profile photographers Kevin Meredith and Andy Keetch. Kevin (aka lomokev) is an established photographer as well as a teacher and writer on all things photography, including best selling instructional photographic book Hot Shots. Andy (aka special noodles) is a popular Brighton figure as Community Manager for Wired Sussex. When not networking with those in the area’s Digital Community, he is a passionate photographer with regular updates to his Flickr account.
Applicants can submit up to two images and interpret the theme however they wish.
