Close Up Photography Competition
The Close Up Photography Competition can be anything from animals living in their natural environment to fantastic landscape and scenery images that we see from around our beautiful planet called Earth. You may like to think of anything from your own garden, ocean life or to wilderness of the Tropics, or whatever your creativity captures in this all embracing photographic competition
Wildlife photographers are devoted to capturing animals in action, such as in flight, their natural habitats, hunting, eating, fighting, or just simply in their natural environment. Nature photography refers to a wide range of photography taken outdoors and devoted to displaying natural elements such as landscapes, wildlife, plants, and close-ups of natural scenes and textures. Nature photography tends to put a stronger emphasis on the aesthetic value of the photo than other photography genres, such as photojournalism and documentary photography. Landscape photography is a genre intended to show different spaces within the world, sometimes vast and unending, but other times microscopic. While many landscape photographers show little or no human activity in their photos, striving to attain ‘pure’ unsullied landscapes that are normally devoid of human influence, using instead subjects such as strongly defined landforms, weather, and ambient light. Despite this, there is no pure or absolute definition of what makes a landscape in photography, as such it has become a very broad term, encompassing urban, industrial , macro and Nature photography So: if you have a passion for nature photography If you enjoy sharing your photos and field experience with others If you wish to become a better nature, wildlife and landscape photographer if you wish to enhance your photography skills The Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers welcomes you into membership
