COPYRIGHT: By participating, the participant confirms that he/she is the author of the uploaded photos and thus has unrestricted rights of use to the photos. The participant further confirms that the photos uploaded by themselves are free from third party rights; in particular that all recognisable persons depicted agree to the aforementioned uses and that third party property rights are not infringed by these uses. The participant fully indemnifies CEWE against any claims of third parties.
. In connection with the publication of submitted photos by the organiser, the full name of the participant shall always be mentioned as the author.
10. the participant assures that the contents of the transmitted image files do not violate applicable (German) prohibition norms, in particular the regulations on the dissemination of child pornography (§§ 184 ff. StGB). Submissions that violate the law, glorify violence, are pornographic, racist or otherwise offensive or are intended to manipulate the competition will be removed by the organiser. There will be no notification of the deletion of the pictures. USAGE RIGHTS: The organiser of the competition reserves the right to delete image entries that deviate grossly from the specified themes. There will be no notification of the deletion of the images. In addition, the organiser reserves the right to make changes or additions to the content provided at any time and without prior notice, even if these have an influence on the conditions of participation in the competition.
7. by participating in the competition, the participant grants CEWE and the companies affiliated with CEWE an irrevocable simple right of use, unlimited in time and space, to use the uploaded photo/s for its PR work. This is done exclusively in connection with this competition or future competitions – including subsequent communication, in which the participant has taken part. This includes the possibility of publication, reproduction, illustration and distribution for the purpose of self-promotion and self-promotion of CEWE in connection with photo competitions. This permission includes the use of the submitted photos for all print and digital media channels as well as exhibitions, such as:
3.1. the presentation of images in exhibitions
3.2. the auctioning of the exhibits for a good cause,
3.3. the publication on the Internet and social networks (including, if necessary, adaptation to the format of specific channels, for example Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat),
3.4. the inclusion in other publications, including publications by third parties in press coverage, and
3.5. the presentation of the services of CEWE photo competitions.
3.6. the publication in a CEWE PHOTOBOOK on the CEWE Photo Award for which a contribution towards expenses may be charged and which may be passed on to third parties for the purpose of advertising the CEWE Photo Award.
Any commercial use beyond the above requires the separate consent of the participant.
