The Center for Photographic Art (CPA) is pleased to announce our latest Juried Exhibition (JE). Registration and submissions will be done on our website, photography.org. Images selected by the jurors will be exhibited in the CPA gallery at the Sunset Center in Carmel, California and/or on the CPA website.

Jurors: Chris Johnson Full Professor of Photography for the California College of the Arts, Dean Brierly Editor and Art Director of B&W Magazine

Fees: Early Bird Entries (submitted before October 28, 2012) CPA members may submit up to three images for $20. Non-members may submit up to three images for $40. Any entrant can submit up to nine additional images at an additional cost of $10 each. No more than a total of 12 images may be submitted.

Regular Entries (submitted up to November 11, 2012) CPA members may submit up to three images for $30. Non-members may submit up to three images for $50. Any entrant can submit up to nine additional images at an additional cost of $10 each. No more than a total of 12 images may be submitted.

Rules: No more than one image by a single photographer will be accepted into the exhibition. No more than two images by a single photographer will be accepted into the web gallery.

10/28/2012: Last day for early-bird discount.

11/11/2012: Last day for registration and submittals.

12/1/2012: Accepted photographers notified via email.

1/2/2013 – 1/9/2013: Prints shipped from accepted photographers due at CPA.

1/2/2013 – 1/9/2013: Accepted prints may be dropped off at the Center.

1/12/2013: Winners announced.

1/12/2013: Exhibition opens.

1/12/2013: Opening reception.

3/1/2013: Exhibition closes.

2/28/2013: Checks mailed to winning artists.

3/5/2013 – 3/23/2013: Prints shipped back to artists.

3/5/2013 – 3/23/2013: Prints may be picked up at the Center.

We’ll provide attribution for the artist on the walls of the exhibition, in the exhibition catalog, and the web gallery. Your registration will be our only source of information so it must be accurate. The exhibition, the catalog, and the web gallery will be produced almost entirely by volunteers. Therefore, no changes will be allowed after submission except omitting an image with erroneous data from the catalog.
