Celebrating Age Photography Competition
All are invited to take part in the first ever charity Celebrating Age Photography Competition, hosted by Age UK Isle of Wight.
The theme / subject is simply: ‘Celebrating Age’ – this is open to personal interpretation but entries must have people over 50 at their heart.
This photography competition is timed to coincide with the United Nations International Day of Older People on October 1st, when Age UKIW will be hosting a ‘Celebrating Age Week’ from Monday 29th September to Saturday 4th October 2014. The week will be centered on recognizing and celebrating the contributions and achievements of older people in every aspect of our society.
All entry fees from the competition will go to helping Age UK Isle of Wight to support local older people to love later life.
Contest Prize & TERMS
There will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd photos in each class.
The best photos will also be displayed at an exhibition at Age UK Isle of Wight. ELIGIBILITY: UK Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.
COPYRIGHT: All entries must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any other party. The entrants must be the sole owner of copyright in all photographs entered and must have obtained permission of any people featured in the entries or their parents/guardians if children under 16 are featured. Further, entrants must not have breached any laws when taking their photographs.
Entrants will retain copyright in the photographs that they submit to Age UK Isle of Wight USAGE RIGHTS: By entering the competition all entrants grant Age UK Isle of Wight the right to publish and exhibit their photographs in their offices, on the organisations website and in future publicity. All photographers will be credited whenever their work is used.
