Taking a photograph on your mobile phone or camera could win you a top Panasonic camera and the opportunity to have your image printed and included in a public exhibition. The Royal Photographic Society is launching an online photographic competition with the theme of ‘Celebrate a Summer of Sport’, which has been awarded the London 2012 Inspire Mark.

The competition aims to encourage people in the UK and across the world to record all aspects of sport and play in their own countries and communities – from informal, fun activities through to local, national and international organised sporting events and competitions.

Images can be taken on any device, from mobile phones to digital SLRs and uploaded directly to the competition website. Participants and the public can see all the images as they are uploaded on their own PC, tablet or smartphone.
