Camera Obscura Journal International Photo Contest
The Camera Obscura Journal of Literature and Photography is hosting its Fall 2011 International photography competition for both professional and non-professional photographers. Open to all types of photography and photography-based mixed media artworks. DEADLINE EXTENDED 1ST OCTOBER 2011
Judged on the following:
-artistic merit (use of the elements and principles of art and design, as well as artistic impact and story-telling)
-technical proficiency (includes proper use of light)
We’re looking for the best, most visually intriguing photography we can find
We have a distinguished panel of judges. All entries are judged anonymously and are accepted only through our electronically submission system.
Contest Prize & TERMS
First prize in the non-professional category - $300
Finalists in both categories will also be considered for publication in the Camera Obscura Journal of Literature & Photography this fall.
Finalists in the professional category receive a gift card for the Polished Photographer valued at $100. ELIGIBILITY: 18+ Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.
COPYRIGHT: Copyright of all images remains with the artist. USAGE RIGHTS: In the event that the image is selected as a finalist, entrant will be notified and given a license/use agreement with Sfumato Press LLC (dba Camera Obscura Journal) granting permission for publication and promotional use of the images before the final judging on the image occurs.
