British Wildlife Photography Awards 2015

bwpa This is your chance to win a prestigious award, with a cash prize of £5,000 and reach millions through national exposure.
Help raise awareness about British wildlife and celebrate our natural heritage. Winners and commended entrants will have their work showcased in a touring exhibition and stunning book, and will be invited to an exclusive Awards ceremony in London. The overall prize fund worth up to £20,000 includes prizes from lead sponsors Sky and Canon.
The awards recognise the talents of photographers practising in Britain whilst also highlighting the great wealth and diversity of British natural history. A celebration of British wildlife as well as a showcase for photographers and videographers, both amateur and professional.

The winning pictures and best entries will be included in a touring exhibition across the UK and a stunning coffee table book, published by AA Publishing.

The title of British Wildlife Photographer is given to the photographer whose single image is judged to be the most striking and memorable of all the entries. The photographer of the overall winning image is awarded a first prize of £5,000.
Thanks to Canon each category winner (except British Seasons and Documentary) will receive a Canon PowerShot G7 X.
The Documentary Category winner will win a Gitzo Tripod GT3542LS.
The British Seasons Category winner will win a £600 voucher for PARAMO garments.
Thanks to Sky the ‘Wildlife in HD Video’ category winner will receive a Sky World HD package and a 3D TV.

Thanks to Canon they will also receive a Canon XA-20 Professional Camcorder.

There are two special awards to encourage participation by young people. These are free to enter.

COPYRIGHT: By submitting images to the BWPA, each entrant confirms and warrants that:
they are the sole author of each entry and that it is their original work;
they own the copyright and any other intellectual property rights of each image;
they have the permission of anyone pictured in the image (or, where the image shows any persons under 18, the consent of their parent/guardian) for the usage rights required by BWPA and will indemnify BWPA against any claims made by any third parties in respect of such infringement;
they have not licensed or disposed of any rights in the image that would conflict with uses to be made by BWPA; and
they have received any necessary permissions from the owner(s) of objects including buildings included in submitted images for the usage rights required by BWPA and will indemnify BWPA against any claims made by any third parties in respect of such infringement. USAGE RIGHTS: By entering the competition, you grant BWPA and its sponsors and supporters a non-exclusive, irrevocable licence to reproduce, enlarge, publish or exhibit, on any media, the images for any purpose directly connected with the competition.
