Black and White Portfolio and Single Image Selection
WPGA will select open theme Black and White portfolios and Single Images to be featured in the first edition of The WonderPick Magazine, an art magazine published by WPGA to promote talented photographers as a means of establishing and maintaining a continuing effort to help them further their careers, as well as to acknowledge established artists. DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 31ST JULY 2010
Portfolios could either conform a coherent body of work or be composed by works that represents the trajectory of the artist.
There is no restriction regarding the date the images were taken.
Each portfolio should contain between 8 and 12 images.
The minimum of Single images to be submitted is 3.
WPGA Artistic Advisory Board: Larry Louie, John Delaney, David Zimermann, Tom Chambers, Dilip Bhatia
Jurors Pre-screening: WPGA Artistic Advisory Board – Final selection’s juror: Tim Anderson
Awards: For each Section (Portfolio and Single Image), Jurors will select Best of Show and 20 Honourable Mentions.
Contest Prize & TERMS
COPYRIGHT: WPGA recognises that the authors retain full ownership of the image copyright. Participants warrant that their photographs may be reproduced for the purpose of marketing and promoting WPGA contests, in catalogues, posters, postcards, publications, and on the Internet. Such use is granted for not more than two years after the announcement of the awards, and without payment to the photographer or featured models. Photographers will receive photo credits with each use, and will allow WPGA to sub-license their photographs to the press for reproduction in connection with the contest and WPGA exhibitions.
