Black and White Photographer of the Year
We are looking for the best black & white photographs from around the world – and we have a very special prize for the winner. The winning pictures will be published in a special Winter edition of Black+White Photography magazine, which goes on sale on 29 November. The magazine is available in print and app formats.
The winning pictures will also be framed and exhibited at the exclusive Leica Store Mayfair in London.
The Competition categories are: Black+White Photographer of the Year; This is Life; The Human Spirit; The Living World; Young Black+White Photographer of the Year.
For the title of Black+White Photographer of the Year you must enter three photographs. For all other categories you can enter one or more photographs.

By entering this Competition the entrant grants permission to the Promoter and sponsors and their associated group companies to reproduce the entrant’s photos in any media (including without limitation on the BPOTY website or in Black+White Photography magazine) whether or not the image is selected as a winning entry of any of the categories.
The entrant of a winning entry of one of the Competition Categories including the Young Black+White Photographer of the Year and Overall Winner categories grants the Promoter and sponsors the right to use their name and town or city of residence for the sole purpose of identifying them as the author of the winning image(s).
