Bees Abroad are pairing up with internationally renowned photography magazine, Wildlife Photographic for our first ever photography competition.

Get creative on the theme of ‘Bees in Nature’ and submit a photo to our photography competition for a chance to win some great prizes, including the winner’s photo being published in Wildlife Photographic magazine to be admired around the world.

Bees of all kinds welcome!

Entry fee is £5 and includes a FREE copy of Wildlife Photographic. All proceeds will go towards Bees Abroad projects. Entries close 23:59 on the 10th May.

Contest Prize & TERMS

PRIZE DETAILS: 1. Publication in Wildlife Photographic
The winner of our photography competition will have their photograph published in one of the most prestigious wildlife magazines in the world, Wildlife Photographic. The magazine is known for its stunning images of animals in their natural habitats, as well as its informative articles on wildlife conservation, biology, and ecology. Over the years, Wildlife Photographic has published work by many famous wildlife photographers, including Joshua Holko, Bill Gozansky and Constance Mier.

2. On display at the Wax Chandlers' Hall, London
The winning photograph will also be displayed at the Wax Chandler’s Hall in London on World Bee Day. Wax Chandlers’ Hall is one of the most prestigious livery halls in London, and it is renowned for its stunning architecture and beautiful interior. The hall dates back to the 14th century and has a long and fascinating history. The hall has hosted many important events throughout its history, including royal banquets, state dinners, and other formal occasions.

3. 'Honey Bees' Photography Book by Ingo Arndt​ (UK and US residents only)
The winner of our photography competition will also receive a copy of ‘Honey Bees’ by award-winning wildlife photographer Ingo Arndt. Arndt’s photography book, ‘Honey Bees’, is a beautiful collection of images that showcases the importance of bees in the natural world and the need to protect them. This beautifully illustrated photography book is a tribute to the amazing honeybee and its critical role in our ecosystem. With its stunning visuals and informative text, this book is a must-have for any photography or nature enthusiast.

The winner will be selected by the editor of Wildlife Photographic, Bill Gozansky. Bill is a professional photographer, guide, and photo editor based in western North Carolina. He specializes in travel, nature, and wildlife photography. Bill’s award-winning images have been represented by galleries, exhibited in numerous art shows and competitions, as well as sold as fine art prints to private collectors.

As editor of Wildlife Photographic magazine, he has a discerning eye for selecting images that can effectively communicate the beauty and importance of the natural world. Bill will select the winner by drawing on the wealth of experience and knowledge in the field of wildlife photography and conservation. Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.
