The Alexia Scholarships and Grants will be awarded to student photojournalists who can further cultural understanding and world peace by conceiving and writing a concise, focused, and meaningful story proposal, and who can demonstrate the ability to visually execute that story with compelling images. It is not a simple portfolio competition.

You must conceive of and write a compelling story proposal that you WILL produce with the assistance of the cash grant. Submit a 750-word story proposal and no more than 20-image portfolio.
