PX3’s photography competition, Aftermath, is a depiction of the consequence of an event. Our lives can be traced, to a series of aftermaths, the results of a cause and effect, that defines who we are, and what our lives are made of; images that portray these single moments, Px3 aims to capture.

From celebrations, to wars and their impact, birth and death, natural disasters, intimate, personal relationships, these are defining images– the Aftermath, of these events. All ranges of emotions and scenarios play a part in creating our own individual aftermaths.

The ability to be aware and understand these profound events are a basic foundation, to many cultures, belief systems. These works should demonstrate the many varied paths, we humans take in life, and it’s Aftermath.

It is the desire of Px3 to bring together on a global scale, in a common voice, these distinct ideas of Aftermath, as seen from the perspective of the photographic lens.

Px3 will recognize and identify photographers, from around the world, both professional and non-professional; who capture in their work, the visual impact of an event and it’s Aftermath.
