A Magazines 2013 international photo contest

A Magazines 2013 international photo contest We’re delighted to have teamed up with renowned wildlife and natural history photographer Chris Weston once again to launch our 2013 international photo contest. The prize is a stunning week-long photo safari in Yellowstone National Park, one of the most remarkable places on Earth. This year, our theme is the environment. The challenge is for you to capture the essence of what it means to you in a photograph. Whether it’s a stunning landscape image, a wildlife portrait, an eye-catching abstract or a reportage-style photo, we’re looking for striking photography that conveys emotion and tells a story. The contest will be judged by Chris Weston, along with A Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief David Lichtneker and Design & Art Director Claire Jean Engelmann. You’ve got until October 31 to submit your entries and we’ll announce the winner in November. The workshop will take place from January 12 to 19, 2014.

Any one person may enter a maximum of two images.

Contest Prize & TERMS

PRIZE DETAILS: The overall winner must be able to travel to Yellowstone National Park and take part in Chris Weston's photo safari between the dates of January 12-19, 2014. The prize includes accommodation, photography tuition, some meals, park entry fees, airport transfers and snow coach transport. The prize does not include evening meals or return flights to Bozeman, Montana, which is the meeting point for participants in the workshop. ELIGIBILITY: Worldwide 18+

COPYRIGHT: Copyright of all images submitted for this contest remains with the respective entrants USAGE RIGHTS: AkzoNobel and A Magazine may use submitted images for publicity purposes in connection with this competition, in which case they will be used free of charge. We also reserve the right to showcase winning images free of charge, again for publicizing the competition. All usages will be credited.
AkzoNobel and A Magazine also reserve the right to retain entries on file for possible future use. Any pictures used will be paid at our normal reproduction rate.
