8th VEVEY INTERNATIONAL PHOTO AWARD
This international competition, which takes place every two years, enables an innovative photography project to be realised. The work, which is completed in a year, is then shown at the 2012 Festival Images.
An amount of CHF 40,000 (around EUR 30,000) is awarded for the development, realisation and presentation of the winning project.
Award entrants are automatically put forward for special grants and may be offered an exhibition at the Quai No 1 gallery, Vevey.
The registration process takes place online and the application documents must be sent to Festival Images before April 15th 2011.
The juries, which consist of visual arts professionals, will meet at the end of May 2011 to choose the various winners.
Contest Prize & TERMS
All Award entrants are automatically put forward for the other prizes such as: the Leica prize, the Broncolor prize and the Nestlé grant.

COPYRIGHT: The application documents of the winning projects will remain the property of Festival Images, although the winner will hold sole copyright. USAGE RIGHTS: The Festival organisers reserve the right to publish and circulate all or part of the winning portfolios, solely within the context of promoting the Vevey International Photo Award and Festival Images, and may share that right with the sponsors of the different prizes.
