4th Ozone Zone International Photo Salon
Our international photography competition is open to all photographers, amateurs and professionals, young and old, from around the globe. Our goal is to promote fine, artistic photography with a positive message to the world. A good deed or act of kindness captured on a photo, a social change for better, a beautiful element of nature, a deeply moving portrait or a special moment in life, a pristine wildlife scene, or a conceptual art image created in studio, they all qualify as having a positive message. No hate or derogatory images belong here.
The interpretation of contest themes belongs to you. Just keep in mind Ozone Zone Photo Salon jury looks for images bringing hope, showing compassion, love, and touching your mind with their artistry and beauty. The beauty can be shown in all of its forms, from a bare beauty of our planet, to an abstract or portrait, to surreal work of art.
2016 Themes: COLOUR open, MONOCHROME open, special theme: CHANGE, special theme: PORTRAIT and FINE NUDE.
CHANGE theme is inspired by Dominica – our new host country. It is a small but beautiful and unspoilt Caribbean island, people call it “nature island”. Last year Tropical Storm Erika pounded us badly, changing our little island’s landscape. But guess what – Dominica may look different, but as beautiful as ever – or even more attractive due to Erika’s changes. But the CHANGE theme is open to your interpretation. A change in life, in landscape, in situation, in mind of a photographer… Whatever CHANGE means to you, show it to the jury. Interpretation belongs to you.
Portrait and Fine Nude theme is also open to interpretation. From studio works, bodyscapes, to portraits and artistic explorations bordering on abstract – show us your best works involving human body. Both colour and monochrome images can be entered.
Open themes are, well, open. Anything can be entered as long as image originated as photograph. from a portrait, through abstract, architecture, surrealism, to still life. Just anything you think is good. Extensive computer manuipulation is permitted. Just adhere to Monochrome description by PSA and FIAP, if you enter a black and white image.
A positive feel and artistic value of entered images will be in focus of our jurors. We look forward to seeing your entries.

COPYRIGHT: 10. COPYRIGHT AND PERMISSIONS
You retain all copyright rights to your images.
10.1 By submitting images to the Competition, you confirm and warrant that:
10.1.1 you are the sole author of each entry and that it is your original work;
10.1.2 you are the sole owner of the copyright in each image;
10.1.3 you have the permission of those pictured in the image (or, where the image shows any persons under 18, the consent of their parent/guardian) for the usage rights required by Ozone Zone Photo Salon and will indemnify Ozone Zone organizers, against any claims made by any third parties in respect of such infringement;
10.1.4 you have not licensed or disposed of any rights in the image that would conflict with uses to be made by Ozone Zone Photo Salon;
10.1.5 you have received any necessary permissions from the owner(s) of property included in submitted images for the usage rights required by Ozone Zone Photo Salon.
10.1.6 you will be responsible for any claim by any third party in respect of your entry.
The exhibition assumes no liability of any misuse of copyright. All final work must be on photographic film, or on electronic file, or on photographic or electronic print material, mounting excepted. Images may be altered, either digitally or otherwise, by the entrant. Artwork or computer graphics created by the entrant may be incorporated if the photographic content predominates subject to Nature, Photo Travel and Photojournalism divisional restrictions. USAGE RIGHTS: 11.1 If your image is NOT shortlisted it will be deleted within 48 hours of the end of the competition.
11.2 If your image is short-listed your image will be displayed on our Finalists and Winners page and in catalog (with usual credits), and may be used to promote the Competition. For avoidance of doubt, no free usage of any photograph is permitted by Ozone Zone Photo Salon, or any of its partners or
sponsors outside the scope of the Ozone Zone Photo Salon competition and exhibition promotion.
11.3.1 You grant Ozone Zone Photo Salon and its supporting partners a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty free license to reproduce, enlarge, publish or exhibit, on any media, the photographs for any purpose connected with the Competition and its promotion. This may include, but is not limited to: (a) inclusion on the Site and on the websites of sponsors and supporters;
(b) inclusion in associated catalogs;
(c) display at any associated exhibitions;
(d) use in press releases to be distributed to national, regional & specialist press giving information about or promoting the Competition.
11.3.2 You also agree that the organizers can sub-license images to the media for reproduction in connection with the Competition and Exhibition only. Ozone Zone Photo Salon will make every effort to ensure that name credits are given to any photograph published in any medium.
11.3.3 One of prizes is publication of selected images in a photography magazine, along with interview. If you are selected for this award we will contact you with details. You have right to decline publishing your images and/or the interview.
