2022 Nature Near You Photo Contest
Our 2022 Nature Near You Photo Contest is now open! Submit up to five photos celebrating our natural environment in Southeastern Michigan in a JPEG (.jpg) file format to [email protected]. Photo submissions will be accepted until August 26, 2022. All photos that meet our guidelines will be eligible and available for public viewing.
We have two categories for submission:
Juried (photo files of 5MB or greater). The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place award winners will be determined by a distinguished panel of judges.
Enthusiast (photo files less than 5MB). Finalists in the Enthusiast category will be selected by Six Rivers staff. Online voting will determine the winning entry for our “People’s Choice: Enthusiast” award.

COPYRIGHT: The artist retains the copyright to said images. USAGE RIGHTS: By submission of their photograph(s), artists grant Six Rivers Land Conservancy the right to use their images for display on printed and emailed materials or other Conservancy marketing purposes with credit given to the artist. Finalist photos in both categories will be sold on the Six Rivers website for a limited time to support the Conservancy’s mission. By submission to the contest, artists grant the use of their image(s) as stated without further contact or compensation from the Conservancy. The artist further states that by the submittal of these images, he/she owns the rights to these images. All images submitted are the property of the artist
