2022 Buzz Photo Contest

Eligibility: The contest is open to amateur photographers only. PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS, BOTH FULL AND PART-TIME WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. Photos must have been taken within the past 12 months.

Entry deadline: May 15, 2022, 11:59 pm (no exceptions)

Animals (wild, domesticated and farm animals)
Landscapes (including urban)
Nature (e.g., wildlife, plants, birds, insects, close-ups of natural scenes and textures)
People and Portraits
Sports and Action
Number of Entries: You may enter as many photos as you like per category. There is no limit.

Submission guidelines: All entries must be submitted via our website. Photos cannot be accepted via e-mail or on disc. Please submit photos as high resolution as possible within the upload size limit (5 MB).

Winners: Winning photos will be published in our July 2022 print issue and will also be published on our website beginning July 1, 2022.

Contest Prize & TERMS

PRIZE DETAILS: Our grand prize winner will receive a couples staycation package at The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa. This luxury weekend package includes a Friday and Saturday night stay in one of the hotel’s newly renovated rooms, a “TEX-LEX” dinner for two in the private Wine Room of TRIBUTE restaurant, two day passes to Trellis Spa’s Soaking Pools & Garden, and complimentary access to the prestigious Houstonian Club. Package is based upon hotel and spa service availability and is valid until July 1, 2023. Package includes hotel room and tax for two consecutive nights. Gratuities for spa services and dining are at your discretion. $200 food & beverage credit will be provided for TRIBUTE dining. Credit must be used during stay and has no monetary value.
