As we look back at 2021, it was a year of high hopes and expectations, sudden bursts and unexpected twists. This all was also followed by many natural events, catastrophes and the continuing pandemic virus governing our actions.

Let’s mention some important events which shaped the last year. A new presidency began in January in the most polarized of U.S. societies since the Civil War. There was a COVID-19 vaccine globally distributed along with the hopes that it would bring our lives back to normal. A container ship blocked the Suez Canal and affected billions in worldwide trade. The 2020 Olympics finally happened in July of 2021. After two decades in Afghanistan, NATO allies left the country. El Salvador became the first country to make Bitcoin a national currency. Europe continues to face a big migration crisis and the world has become “Colder” again due to situation on the Ukraine/Russian border.
