The year ‘2020’ brought with it multiple historical events and will be remembered by future generations for many reasons. It was a panic-inducing year for all of us. With each passing month came a shock, be it the Black Lives Matter protests, an explosion at the Port of Beirut, war in Nagorno-Karabakh, the cancelation of the Summer Olympic games, and of course, the US presidential election. It started off like a Hollywood movie with cities shut down due to a pandemic and the human population on the verge of extinction. However, amidst all the ‘2020’ chaos, there were some good things happening. For instance, a considerable increase in the wildlife population, a drastic reduction in pollution levels, and the launch of a Disney LGBTQ+ character are only some of the positive stories from the last year.
