7th Annual International Photography Competition
FMoPA is currently accepting entries for our 7th Annual International Photography Competition for 2017. This competition is open to everyone around the world and to all levels. The cost of entry is $10 per submission and deadline to submit works is April 17th. There will be cash prizes and an opportunity to exhibit in the museum for first, second, third place and best in competition.
The FLORIDA MUSEUM of PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS is a museum dedicated to exhibiting important photographic art as central to contemporary life and culture. FMoPA collects, preserves, and exhibits historic and contemporary works by nationally and internationally known photographic artists. FMoPA also enriches the community by operating outreach programs to educate children and adults.
Contest Prize & TERMS
COPYRIGHT: By submitting a photograph for a show at FMoPA, you warrant and represent that the photographs you submit (the "Photographs") are the artist’s own original work, that you alone own copyright to the Photographs, that it is an authentic and accurate depiction of the subject matter presented, that no other party has any right, title, claim or interest in the Photographs, and that you have obtained all third party releases and permissions necessary for our use. You grant FMoPA a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to display, distribute and reproduce the Photographs, in whole or in part, in any medium now existing or subsequently developed, for museum purposes, without further permission, review or participation from you. This license includes but is not limited to the right to display your Photographs on the museum web site and e-mails, to print museum related publications, correspondence, brochures, newsletters and otherwise. USAGE RIGHTS: The photos will be used by the museum for advertising on different social media platforms. If selected as a winner, the images will be exhibited in the museum and may be considered to be used as a public art exhibition on a billboard.
