COPYRIGHT: 1. Promoter The Promoter of this photo competition is Thomas Cook Airlines Limited trading as Thomas Cook Airlines UK, of Coningsby Road, Peterborough PE3 8SB 2. Participation 2.1. This competition is only open to persons with permanent residence in the United Kingdom. Employees of Thomas Cook and their family members are not eligible to participate. Professional photographers in any capacity may not participate. 2.2. The hashtag #Loveatfirstflight is required to participate. This hashtag must be used on all images posted to all social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram 2.3 This competition is intended to allow amateur photographers to share their best holiday snaps of destinations that they have an emotional connection to or remind them of being in love. 3. Conditions of Participation 3.1. Digital photographs should be provided which meet the following specifications: • JPEG format • Minimum size: 1770 x 1180 pixels, 15 x 10cm, 300dpi, 400kb • Not manipulated with photo editing software 3.2. By submitting a photograph, the entrant warrants that the publication of such photograph will not infringe the rights (including but not limited to copyright) of any third party, and further warrants that the entrant owns all rights in such photograph or has the permission of the owner of the rights to upload the photograph. Entrants agree to indemnify Thomas Cook Airlines Ltd against all costs, claims, loss, damage or expense that may result from any third party claim arising from any breach of these warranties by the entrant. 3.3. Entrants must ensure that they do not submit photographs without first obtaining the consent of any individuals who are featured in such photographs. 3.4 Entrants must not submit any photograph that contains any image that is likely to be offensive, illegal or inappropriate for public viewing via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Any such entries will be removed and will be invalid. 3.5 The normal rules of Facebook, twitter and instagram will apply to all entries that are uploaded in addition to these competition rules. 4. Competition Closing Dates The competition is open between 09:00 on 11/05/2015 and 00:00 on 31/05/15 (“Promotion Period”). The winner will be announced on 1st June 2015 via the Thomas Cook Airlines UK account. 5. Winner Selection 5.1. The winning photo will be the one which the judges consider to be the best and most fits the brief and #LoveAtFirstFlight 5.2. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the decision. 6. Prize Two return economy flights to Miami departing from Manchester to Miami departing between in June 2015 or September and October 2015 (excluding school and bank holidays ). Dates of flight subject to availability at time of booking. The winner must be one of the people who travels on the flight as the prize cannot be transferred. The flights must be booked by 30/07/2015. The prize does not include the cost of accommodation, travel insurance, flight extras, tourist cards, departure taxes, spending money or any other items or expense not specifically stated within the prize description. 7. Announcement of Winners 7.1. The winner will be contacted on the 1st June 2015 by private message on Facebook or twitter or by public message on Instagram. If the winner has not accepted the prize within three days of notification the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected 7.2 The winner’s name may be published across all social media sites and other media 8. Miscellaneous 8.1. Entrants agree that the Promoter is entitled to use any of the submitted photos in subsequent publications, campaigns and promotions both online and offline anywhere in the world. 8.2 By uploading photographs, entrants grant to Thomas Cook Airlines Limited a perpetual worldwide licence to copy, reproduce and use such photographs as described in 8.1 above. 8.3. The Promoter reserve the right to modify or discontinue the competition at any time, temporarily or permanently, without prior notice, due to reasons beyond its control. 8.4 The Promoter accepts no liability for any loss or damage that may occur to any hardware or software used by entrants as a result of participation in this competition. 8.5 The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, modify or terminate this competition if necessary due to computer virus, tampering, bugs, technical failure or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the security, integrity or proper conduct of this competition. 8.6 This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook. 8.7.
