Asferico Photo Contest 2014
Asferico Photo Contest 2014 is open to amateur or professional photographers of any age or nationality and has the goal to show the unique side of Nature.
A – Landscape: Entries must capture scenes that are truly wild and awesome. They should convey a sense of wonder and widerness.
B – Underwater worlds: Entries must feature sea or freshwater life.
C – Mammals
D – Birds
E – Other animals
C – D – E Images must show memorable, unusual or striking behaviour. Portraits should capture the character or spirit of the subject and focus on it. The key here is striking originality.
F – Plants and fungi: This is the category for pictures that highlight the beauty, diversity and importance of all forms of plant life.
G – Composition and forms: Pictures in this category must illustrate natural subjects in abstract ways, and will be judged for their aesthetic value.
H – Man and nature: Positive or negative aspects of human interaction with nature

Contest Prize & TERMS
In each category there will be only one winner who will receive a prize in photographic equipment and a copy of the competition book
In each category 9 additional images will be also selected and the photographer of each of them will receive a copy of the competition book. The category winners and the authors of the selected images will be invited to attend the final award ceremony ELIGIBILITY: Open to All Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.
COPYRIGHT: All the rights on photos entering the competition must be author’s property and be without bonds with agencies or publishers USAGE RIGHTS: The magazine Asferico will be entitled to a free use of both the winning and selected photographs that will eventually be published in the journal, in the competition volume, on websites or in brochures and calendars. Furthermore, photos may be eventually showed in exhibitions related to the competition and whenever the organizers of the competition will deem it necessary. The names of images authors will always be mentioned.
