2013 Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize
Call for entries in the 2013 Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize – Open Section. Entrants to the 2013 Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize – Open Section can enter as many works as they wish. Entries to the Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize 2013 (Prize) – Open Section must: be an original work, completed and owned by the submitting photographer, be still, photo-based artwork, including analogue and digital photography or staged and directorial photo-media work, and have been taken within the 12 months preceding the Moran Prizes 2013 closing date.
The winning entry (physical work) immediately becomes the property of the Moran Arts Foundation [upon payment of the prize money to the winner]. The prize money awarded includes the acquisition of the physical work (runner up/s and highly commended works are not acquisitive).
The Moran Arts Foundation is a philanthropic, not-for-profit organisation whose objective is to support the Arts in Australia. Established by Doug and Greta Moran and Family in 1988 in celebration of Australia’s bicentennial, the Moran Arts Foundation fosters portraiture skills and excellence in photography.

The 2013 Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize Finalist Exhibition will be held this year at Juniper Hall, Paddington NSW form October for several months. ELIGIBILITY: Australian / 18+
Each entry must be submitted online as a jpeg, png, gif or jpg file no larger than 8MB Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.
COPYRIGHT: The Prize entrant warrants that the work submitted is original and does not infringe the copyright, moral rights or other rights of any third party and that he or she owns all rights and interests in the work submitted.Copyright in all the photographs entered and/or exhibited will remain with the photographer. USAGE RIGHTS: In consideration of the publicity and exposure they receive from their work being exhibited in the 2013 Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize each finalist, including runner up/s and highly commended photographer/s grants to the Moran Arts Foundation a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide and royalty-free licence to use his or her photograph entered and exhibited in the 2013 Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize for the advertising and promotion of the Moran Prize in any form of media now known or yet to be devised, both from the date the finalists are announced and in future years. Entrants acknowledge and agree that the Moran Arts Foundation is not liable to pay the finalist photographers any fee, royalty or other form of remuneration for this right.
In consideration of the prize money, the winner grants to the Moran Arts Foundation a sole, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide and royalty-free licence to use his or her 2013 Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize winning photograph (Winning Photograph) for the advertising and promotion of the Moran Prize in any form of media now known or yet to be devised, both from the date the finalists are announced and in future years. The winner will use his or her best endeavours to acknowledge the Winning Photograph achievement as a Moran Prize winner each and every time the Winning Photograph is used. The winner acknowledges and agrees that the Moran Arts Foundation is not liable to pay him or her any fee, royalty or other form of remuneration for this right.
