2013 Habitat World photo contest
Every Habitat participant has a story to tell. Share yours in a photo.
It could be an image of a Habitat project completed. A smile on a volunteer’s face. A homeowner building their family’s house. Or a view of a revitalized neighborhood seen in a new light.
Whatever it is, we’d love to see your photographs that reveal how people come together to build homes, communities and hope. We know Habitat World’s readers engage with Habitat in many different places and many different ways.
So whether it’s a local build in your community or a renovation project halfway around the world, use your camera to show us what Habitat means to you — and how vital our shared work is in changing people’s lives.
Finalists of the Contest will be selected by Habitat World’s team of judges based on the following criteria: ability to capture Habitat’s mission and impact as well as technical composition and quality.

COPYRIGHT: Each entrant will retain ownership of copyright and may exploit the photographs submitted for any lawful purpose. USAGE RIGHTS: Each entrant of the Contest grants to HFHI a non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide license to his or her copyright rights (e.g. to use, reproduce, copy, publish, display, distribute, adapt, or modify) in the submitted photograph(s) for use by HFHI in any media, with or without attribution to the entrant and without any further compensation. This license does not convey ownership of copyright to HFHI
HFHI may use the Contest winner’s name, photograph, likeness, and/or voice in any media or with any publicity or advertising that relates to the Contest or relates to future promotions without compensation or approval (except where prohibited by law).
