2013 Faces of Brewing photo contest
The 2013 Faces of Brewing photo contest – Out for a beer. Do you enjoy taking photos of a cool perfectly poured pint? If so, you’re not alone. Submit your best hi-quality shots to Brewers of Europe’s photo competition “Faces of Brewing”.
This year the competition focuses on beer in the on-trade sector so if you want to join you should submit your hi-quality artistic pictures of the local hospitality sector, pubs or bars in your town or some place you have visited during your travels. Whether you have your eye on the corner cafe, or the quaint pub or beer festival you visited on your holiday abroad, we welcome all great pictures featuring (1) traditional local pubs, bars , events, cafes, and beer gardens. (2) beer and (3) waiters, waitresses and staff. The competition ends on 30 September so great holiday shots can be included as well.
The competition is created by Brewers of Europe with the ambition to shine a light on the people and the ‘faces’ behind the world’s most widely consumed alcoholic beverage – beer.
The winning entry will be the most visually appealing, original and self-explanatory photo capturing the themes of this year’s Faces of Brewing competition and shall be selected by the jury.
Contest Prize & TERMS
•2nd prize: €500 of photography equipment
•3rd prize: €250 of photography equipment
In addition, prizes of €50 will be awarded by the website managers to the 'Most Popular Picture', judged by the number of votes received by the individual photos in the gallery, and the 'Social Media Star' of Faces', judged by the most prolific use of Faces of Brewing's social media channels
The presentation of first prize will take place at the signature 'Beer Serves Europe' gala dinner hosted by The Brewers of Europe in Brussels on 4 December 2013. Travel to Brussels and one night of accommodation will be provided for the first prize winner only. ELIGIBILITY: 27 Member States of the European Union plus Norway, Switzerland and Turkey / 21+

COPYRIGHT: All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them and he/she must be the sole copyright owner of the image. Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants USAGE RIGHTS: The Brewers of Europe may use any of the submitted images in non-commercial material or to promote the Faces of Brewing Competition. The photos will not be used on commercial material by The Brewers of Europe or any of their member associations as featured on The Brewers of Europe website.
