2012 3rd Annual SD AAZK Photo Contest
The San Diego AAZK Photo Contest is a fundraiser benefiting the Clouded Leopard Project. This digital contest will highlight photography’s vital role in capturing the realities and impact of conservation worldwide. Photos will be judged on the basis of content, overall impact, and artistic quality.
We invite photos which tell “good news” stories about conservation and the environment.
Best In Show will be judged by Ken Bohn, San Diego Zoo Global photographer, Carmi Penny, Director of Curators San Diego Zoo, Yvette Kemp, President of the San Diego chapter of AAZK, and John Dunlap, Director of the San Diego Zoo.
Peoples choice will be judged by SD AAZK Facebook friends by the highest numbers of “likes” per photo.
Contest Prize & TERMS
COPYRIGHT: No Copyright Policy USAGE RIGHTS: Winners will be contacted to submit a high-resolution version of the photo for publication on National AAZK’s Animal Keeper Forum, San Diego AAZK website/Facebook/events, and other SD AAZK uses.
With the submission of your photo and donation of registration fee, you are consenting use of your image(s) to the San Diego chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers to use for purposes of advertising, keeper conservation, and conservation projects.
Photos will be displayed at SD AAZK events, the SD AAZK website, the SD AAZK Facebook page, and possibly printed on the cover or in The Forum (National publication of AAZK).
For other uses SD AAZK will seek permission from the photographers.
