AOP Students Awards 2012

The Call for Entries to the AOP Students Awards 2012 competition is now open! Entry to the competition is open to photography students studying a BTEC HND or higher within the UK and is open to both AOP Student members and non members.

The Categories

You can submit unlimited entries, across the following four categories:

Lifestyle & Portraiture (Single & Series)
Includes portraits and lifestyle images featuring people and/or animals as the primary element.

Fashion & Beauty (Single & Series)
Includes fashion and beauty-style images.

Landscape, Interiors & Exteriors (Single & Series)
Includes landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes, interiors, exteriors and architecture, which may or may not include people, animals or objects as a secondary element.
Still Life (Singles & Series)
Includes still life and food shots where inanimate objects feature as the primary element.

Contest Prize & TERMS

PRIZE DETAILS: The AOP Student Photographer of the Year will receive: A full day’s work experience with a high-profile AOP member, plus extensive press coverage and we may use your winning images to promote the AOP Students Awards and AOP Student Membership.

In addition to the AOP Student Photographer of the Year, two runners up will be given Merit Awards. All finalists will have their winning images exhibited in a central London location ELIGIBILITY: UK / Students studying a BTEC HND or higher Not eligible to enter? - Find contest where you are.

COPYRIGHT: Each entrant shall be deemed to warrant that they own the entire copyright in the image. USAGE RIGHTS: Selected entries may be reproduced in IMAGE magazine and used in various publications to promote these Awards including, but not limited to, print, internet, CD-ROM or other electronic media.

The AOP and its major sponsor(s) reserve the right to reproduce, without fee or prior permission, any work submitted to the 2012 Student Awards in connection with promoting the Students Awards and the AOP Student of the Year. This right will be granted for a period of up to 18 months from the date that on-line entry closes.
