Ceiriog Valley Photo Competition 2011
A little bit of heaven on Earth was how Lloyd George described the Ceiriog Valley in North East Wales. Located just south of Llangollen, close to the English border and the A5, the valley remains a secret and unspoilt place with an identity of its own and is largely off the tourist trail.
We’re looking for digital photos which capture the essence of the Ceiriog Valley it’s landscape, culture, people and wildlife. The subject matter must be the Ceiriog Valley and taken between March 20 and August 31, 2011.
Use the maximum quality setting on your camera to have the best chance of your image being selected. Please keep digital manipulation such as cloning and compositing to a minimum; your photograph should faithfully represent the scene as you saw it. HDR images not produced by merging multiple exposures are unlikely to be accepted.
Only photos deemed suitable for public viewing will be displayed. Approved photos will be displayed on the Golden Pheasant’s Facebook page.
You can enter a maximum of five images.
