Amateur Photographer of the Year Competition

WWT Photography Competition 2010

wwt2010.jpg (12 KB) . There are 60 ways to win in our competition this year and some fantastic prizes. Everyone who votes for their favourite photograph can enter a draw to win membership to WWT – so you don’t even have to own a camera to win!

Enter your photos in these four categories

Wetland wildlife (Must be taken at WWT wetland centres) From classic bird portraits and wildflower studies, to the arty and abstract. This is your chance to impress by showing the wildlife off to its best.

Wetland landscapes (Must be taken at WWT wetland centres) Let’s face it, summer doesn’t necessarily mean sunshine in the UK, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing if you’re looking for a moody landscape. WWT wetland centres are perfect subjects, come rain or shine.

People and Wildlife (Must be taken at WWT wetland centres) Where else can you get nose to beak with wildlife other than at WWT? Capture the moment of interaction and you could be a winner.

Quirky (can be taken anywhere in the UK) Wetland wildlife does the strangest things sometimes. Have your camera or phone at the ready.

All entries from under 16s also automatically go into their own category.
