GUIDELINES: Photos must be submitted unframed and
unmated as an 8×10 print. A completed entry form is
required per entrant. Photos must have a name, address,
phone number, the title of the photo and category of entry
on the back. Entry grants museum right to publish photos.
Photos will be treated as works of art and displayed in
page protectors.

EXHIBIT & RECEPTION: Photos will be on display from
September 13-17, 2016 at the Alcorn County Fair in the
Crossroads Arena and from September 25-November 12, 2016
(except Hometown Teams entries, which will remain on display
through December 31, 2016) at the Crossroads Museum.
Winners will be honoured and prizes will be awarded at the
opening reception on Sunday, September 25, 2016, from 2 to 4
p.m. at the Crossroads Museum.

AWARD AREAS: All photos will be judged by use of lighting,
clarity, composition, expressions, creativity, exposure and colour.
Judges assign winners according to areas of strength. A photo
may be moved to a different category as deemed by the museum.

CATEGORIES OF ENTRY:
1. Close-ups (Macro or micro, flowers, insects, etc.)
2. People
3. Pets/Animals/Wildlife
4. Vacations
5. Still Life (Landscapes, sunsets, waterfalls, buildings, etc.)
6. Hometown Teams (Any sports related photo.)
