Distant World Habitats Photography Competition

Habitats Photography Competition Distant World presents the Habitats Photography Competition. DISTANT WORLD is an exiting photography book and exhibition project exploring the global complexities of human geography through a selection of powerful and inspiring photography.

We are inviting photographers from around the world for submissions to take part in our first book. We aim to create a collection of work from photographers representing beauty and issues facing communities, places, nature and cultures.

The theme for this book is ‘Habitats’. This includes both animal and human habitats.

Open submissions will be judged by a panel of established photographers and 50 winners will have the opportunity to have their work published in the DISTANT WORLD book and showcased in London in an exhibition with printing, material and promotions paid for.

We are a  non-profit organisation and any proceeds that are made are used to support photographers and film makers and re-invested in future projects.

Our mission is to raise issues and promote beauty and issues of human geography through powerful and inspiring photography and film
